Thabiso Jwara

This page sets out the legal framework for the Integrated Accounting Platform and Personal Finance Tracker operated by Thabiso Jwara. Both platforms are designed to operate without user accounts, registration, login credentials, server-side databases or cloud storage of user-entered financial information. Data entered into either platform is stored locally on the user's own device.

Effective date: 23 September 2026 Jurisdiction: South Africa Operator: Thabiso Jwara
Important: Neither platform requires a user account or registration. There are no usernames, passwords or other login credentials to create or manage. User-entered information is stored locally on the user's own device rather than in a Company-controlled account or database. Users are responsible for securing their devices, browsers and locally stored data, and for making their own backups where they require protection against device loss, damage, reset or failure.

1. Legal Overview

The Integrated Accounting Platform is a business accounting and financial-management tool designed to support cost & managerial accounting, financial accounting, analysis, reporting and related business functions. It does not require users to create accounts or log in. Information entered into the platform is stored locally on the device on which the platform is used.

Personal Finance Tracker is a personal finance and budgeting tool that operates in the user's browser or as an installed local application. It does not require registration, an account, a username, a password or any other login credential. Information entered into it is stored locally on the user's own device.

Neither platform is designed to transmit, receive or store the user's financial records in a Company-controlled server, database or cloud account. This page applies to both platforms, their interfaces, software functionality, documentation and related materials, unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise. By accessing or using either platform, you acknowledge that you have had a reasonable opportunity to read this page and agree to it.

2. Terms of Use

Integrated Accounting Platform

2A.1 Eligibility and authority

You may use the platform for lawful business, accounting, financial-management, operational, analytical and reporting purposes. Where you use it on behalf of a company or organisation, you are responsible for having the appropriate authority to enter and manage that organisation's information.

2A.2 No accounts or login credentials

The Integrated Accounting Platform does not require users to create an account, register, sign in or provide a username, password, PIN or other authentication credential. Access to the platform is through the software or webpage itself.

2A.3 Local data responsibility

Information entered into the platform is stored locally on the device being used. You are responsible for the security of that device, the browser or application profile in which the data is stored, and any person who has physical or remote access to the device.

2A.4 Permitted use

You may use the platform for lawful accounting, financial-management, costing, budgeting, reporting, analysis and other business purposes for which its functionality is provided.

2A.5 Prohibited conduct

You must not misuse the platform, introduce malicious code, unlawfully copy or redistribute protected software, interfere with its operation, attempt to damage another person's device or data, or use the platform in violation of applicable law or another person's rights.

2A.6 User responsibility for local data

Because the Company does not maintain a server-side copy of your data, the Company cannot restore information that is lost because of device failure, browser data being cleared, an application being removed, a device being reset, theft, corruption or other local events. Users should make their own exports or backups where continued access to their information is important.

Personal Finance Tracker

2B.1 Eligibility

Personal Finance Tracker is intended for general personal use by individuals managing their own finances. No registration or age-verification process is required because the tool does not create user accounts or collect personal information for account administration.

2B.2 No accounts or credentials

There is nothing to sign up for. Opening the page or installed application is the entirety of access. There are no usernames, passwords, PINs or other login credentials for the Company to issue, store or protect.

2B.3 Permitted use

You may use Personal Finance Tracker for your own lawful personal budgeting, financial record-keeping, planning and analysis. You may use it offline where the installed or cached version supports offline operation, and you may export your data using the available export functionality.

2B.4 Prohibited conduct

You must not use Personal Finance Tracker for an unlawful purpose, introduce malicious code into any copy of it, attempt to interfere with the availability or operation of the software, or misrepresent a modified copy as being provided or endorsed by the Company.

2B.5 Changes to the software

The Company may modify, update, suspend or discontinue a hosted or distributed copy of Personal Finance Tracker. Because user data is stored locally on the user's device and is not maintained by the Company, changing or discontinuing a copy does not transfer the user's locally stored data to the Company.

3. Privacy Policy

Integrated Accounting Platform

3A.1 Privacy approach

The Integrated Accounting Platform is designed as a local-data application. It does not require users to create accounts and does not maintain a Company-controlled database containing the financial information entered by users.

3A.2 Information entered by users

Users may enter information such as company details, products, services, costs, transactions, budgets, financial records, accounting information, calculations and reports. That information is stored locally on the user's own device through the browser or application storage mechanisms used by the platform.

3A.3 Information not collected by the Company

The Company does not receive the user's locally stored accounting or financial records through the platform. The platform does not create a Company-held user profile containing the user's financial information, and there is no Company-managed account from which such information can be retrieved.

3A.4 How information is used

Calculations, classifications, reports, budgets, analyses, forecasts and other functions are performed using information available locally to the platform on the user's device. The information is used to provide the functionality requested by the user within that local session and stored data environment.

3A.5 Personal information

Users should avoid entering personal information that is not necessary for their use of the platform. Where a user chooses to enter personal information into locally stored records, the user remains responsible for determining whether the collection and use of that information is appropriate for their circumstances and for securing the device on which it is stored.

3A.6 POPIA

Because the Company does not receive or maintain the user's locally stored financial records through the platform, the Company does not process those records on its own server or database. Users and organisations remain responsible for their own compliance obligations in relation to information they choose to enter into and manage through the platform.

3A.7 Contact information

If you contact the Company directly by email, telephone or another communication channel, information you provide in that communication may be received and used to respond to your enquiry. This is separate from information stored locally inside the platform.

Personal Finance Tracker
The short version: the Company does not collect the financial data you enter into the tool. Personal Finance Tracker does not require an account, registration or login and does not send the user's transactions, budgets or other locally stored financial information to a Company-controlled server or database.

3B.1 What is stored

Transactions, bills, budgets, settings, notes and other information entered by the user may be stored in the browser's local storage or other local application storage on the user's device.

3B.2 How information is used

The information is used locally to provide budgeting, categorisation, calculations, cash-flow forecasts, reports, what-if results, alerts and other features of the tool. The Company does not receive a copy of this information through the platform.

3B.3 No Company database or user profile

There is no Company-controlled database or account containing the user's Personal Finance Tracker records. The Company therefore cannot retrieve, view, edit, sell, share or delete the user's locally stored financial information on the user's behalf.

3B.4 Marketing

The Company does not obtain contact details through Personal Finance Tracker and does not use financial information entered into the tool for targeted marketing.

3B.5 Technical requests

When a hosted webpage is opened, the infrastructure delivering the webpage may receive ordinary technical information associated with a web request, such as an IP address, requested files, browser information and timestamps. This is separate from the user's financial records. The financial information entered into the tool remains locally stored and is not included in those requests by the application.

3B.6 Retention

The user's data remains on the user's device until the user changes, exports or deletes it, or until the relevant browser or application storage is cleared, removed or otherwise lost. The Company does not hold a copy for retention.

3B.7 User control

The user has direct control over the locally stored information through the application, browser and device. The Company does not require a data-subject request for the user to access or delete information that is stored solely on the user's own device.

4. Data Processing

Integrated Accounting Platform

4A.1 Local processing

The Integrated Accounting Platform processes the information needed for its accounting, costing, budgeting, reporting and analytical functions locally on the user's device. The Company does not operate a server-side database for the user's platform records.

4A.2 No Company processing of local records

The Company does not receive instructions to process, host, analyse, sell or otherwise use the user's locally stored financial records because those records are not transmitted to the Company through the platform.

4A.3 User responsibilities

  • Enter information accurately and lawfully.
  • Ensure that information entered into the platform may lawfully be stored on the user's device.
  • Protect the device and browser or application profile from unauthorised access.
  • Make independent backups or exports where the information needs to be preserved.

4A.4 No Company-controlled sub-processors for stored records

The Company does not appoint a data-processing sub-processor to store the user's locally saved accounting records because those records are not sent to the Company for storage.

4A.5 Cross-border transfers

The Company does not transfer the user's locally stored accounting records across borders because the platform does not send those records to Company-controlled infrastructure for storage or processing.

Personal Finance Tracker

Personal Finance Tracker performs its relevant calculations and functions locally on the user's device. There is no Company-operated server-side database containing the user's financial records, and the Company does not process those records as a hosted data set.

There are therefore no Company-controlled data-processing instructions, server-side backups, sub-processors or cross-border transfers of the user's locally stored financial records through the platform.

If a user exports a backup file and independently emails it, uploads it to cloud storage, sends it to another person or stores it on another service, that transfer is initiated and controlled by the user and is subject to the terms and privacy practices of the service the user chooses.

5. Security Policy

Integrated Accounting Platform

Because the platform stores user-entered information locally, security of that information depends primarily on the security of the user's device, operating system, browser or application environment and any backups created by the user.

The Company does not maintain a central database of the user's accounting records that could be secured, restored or monitored on the user's behalf.

User security responsibilities

  • Keep the device's operating system and browser or application updated.
  • Use a strong device passcode, password or biometric lock.
  • Limit physical and remote access to the device.
  • Protect browser profiles and local application data where applicable.
  • Export or back up important accounting information regularly.
Personal Finance Tracker

Personal Finance Tracker has no Company-controlled server-side storage for the user's financial information. The security of information saved by the tool therefore depends on the user's own device, browser, application environment and backups.

It is the user's responsibility to:

  • Keep the device's operating system and browser up to date.
  • Use a lock screen, passcode or biometric lock on the device.
  • Be mindful of who has physical or remote access to the device or browser profile.
  • Make their own backups or exports if they want protection against loss of the device or local data.
  • Avoid clearing browser or application storage unless they understand that locally stored records may be removed.

The Company cannot detect, prevent, recover or take responsibility for unauthorised access to or loss of information caused by events occurring on the user's own device.

6. Cookies & Similar Technologies

Integrated Accounting Platform

The platform does not require cookies or server-side session credentials for user accounts because there are no user accounts or logins. It may use browser local storage or similar local technologies necessary to save preferences, settings and application data on the user's device.

Personal Finance Tracker

Personal Finance Tracker does not use cookies for user accounts, advertising, analytics or behavioural tracking. It uses browser local storage or equivalent local application storage to save user data. If an installed version uses an offline cache or service worker, that mechanism is used to support local application functionality and does not turn the user's local financial records into a Company-hosted account.

7. Disclaimer

Integrated Accounting Platform
The platform is a software and information tool. It is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, legal, audit, investment or financial advice.

Calculations, classifications, dashboards, cost allocations, financial reports, forecasts, ratios, recommendations, alerts and other outputs are generated from information entered by the user and the rules implemented in the software. Users remain responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for financial, tax, accounting, operational or management decisions.

The Company does not warrant that every calculation or output will be error-free, complete or suitable for a particular accounting framework or business circumstance. The platform does not constitute an audit, assurance engagement, statutory accounting service, tax opinion, legal opinion or investment recommendation unless a separate written engagement expressly says so.

Personal Finance Tracker
Personal Finance Tracker is a personal budgeting and financial-recording tool. It is not a substitute for professional financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice.

Categorisation, budgets, cash-flow forecasts, what-if results and alerts are calculated from information entered by the user using the rules and functionality provided by the software. They are estimates or projections, not guarantees, and are only as accurate as the information entered.

Users should exercise their own judgement and consult a qualified professional before making significant financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal decisions.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

Everyone using either platform must do so responsibly and lawfully. The following are prohibited on both:

  • Using the platform for fraud, unlawful financial activity or other unlawful conduct.
  • Introducing malware, ransomware, destructive code or harmful content into any copy of either platform.
  • Interfering with a platform's availability, performance, operation or distribution.
  • Entering or processing data in a manner that infringes another person's intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights.
  • Using automated methods to extract substantial platform content without permission.
  • Reverse engineering or attempting to derive protected source code, except to the extent a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
  • Misrepresenting a modified copy as being provided, endorsed by or affiliated with the Company.
  • Using the software to facilitate unauthorised access to another person's device, files or data.

Because neither platform requires user accounts, provisions relating to unauthorised access to another user's account or attempts to bypass account authentication do not apply. Users remain prohibited from attempting to access another person's device, browser storage or locally stored application data without permission.

9. Intellectual Property

Both platforms — their software, interfaces, visual design, documentation, branding, text, graphics, workflows, code and related materials — are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws and remain the property of the Company or its licensors unless expressly stated otherwise.

Integrated Accounting Platform: users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software for its intended purposes. No ownership of the underlying software, code, branding or design is transferred to the user. Locally stored business, accounting and financial information entered by a user remains under the user's control, and the Company does not claim ownership of that information.

Personal Finance Tracker: users may use the tool for their own personal purposes. Use of the tool does not transfer ownership of the underlying software, branding, design or code to the user. Everything a user enters into the tool — including transactions, budgets, notes and exported records — remains the user's information. The Company does not claim ownership of that user-entered information.

10. Third-Party Services & Links

Integrated Accounting Platform

The platform may use third-party software libraries, frameworks, hosting or content-delivery services to deliver application files or functionality. Such third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. The Company does not represent that it controls the independent operation, security practices or availability of third-party infrastructure.

Where a third-party resource is used only to deliver software or static content, that does not mean the user's locally stored accounting records are transmitted to that provider. External websites or links, where provided, are for convenience and do not constitute endorsement.

Personal Finance Tracker

Personal Finance Tracker may load third-party software resources, such as a JavaScript library used for Excel import, export or template functionality. A request for such a resource retrieves the software library itself and is separate from the financial records stored locally on the user's device.

Third-party providers may have their own technical logs, terms and privacy policies. The Company does not control their independent practices. The platform does not intentionally send the user's locally stored transactions, budgets or other financial records to such providers merely because a software library is loaded.

11. Availability, Maintenance & Changes

The Company aims to provide reliable software but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. A platform or hosted copy may be unavailable or degraded because of maintenance, upgrades, security events, hosting or telecommunications failures, third-party outages, device or browser limitations, force majeure or other circumstances outside reasonable control.

Features may be added, modified, replaced or discontinued on either platform at any time. Users should maintain their own exports or backups of important locally stored information because the Company does not maintain a server-side copy from which lost information can be restored.

Local-data principle: changing, updating or discontinuing the software does not give the Company possession of the user's locally stored financial records. Whether those records remain available after an update, browser reset, application removal or device failure depends on the user's device and local storage environment.

12. Liability & Indemnity

In plain language: both platforms are software tools used at your own risk. The Company does not maintain a server-side copy of your locally stored financial records and cannot guarantee that information stored on your device will survive device loss, damage, reset, browser-data deletion, application removal, corruption or other local events. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12.1 No exclusion of non-excludable liability

Nothing on this page excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory protections available under South African law. This clause does not remove rights that the law requires the Company to provide.

12.2 Limitation of liability

Subject to 12.1, both platforms are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. The Company will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or purely economic loss arising from use of either platform, including loss of profits, revenue, anticipated savings, business opportunity, reputation, financial loss, or lost or corrupted locally stored data, to the extent such limitation is permitted by law.

12.3 Local storage and data loss

The Company is not responsible for loss of locally stored information caused by device failure, theft, damage, operating-system failure, browser-data clearing, application removal, storage corruption, unauthorised access to the device, failure to create backups, or any other event affecting the user's own device or local storage environment, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

12.4 Your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of information supplied to either platform, for decisions made using the platform's outputs, for securing the device on which the information is stored, and for maintaining appropriate exports or backups where required.

12.5 Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless against any third-party claim, loss, damage or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your unlawful use of either platform, your infringement of a third party's rights, data you supplied in breach of applicable law, or your material breach of this page — except to the extent caused by the Company's own unlawful conduct.

13. General

13.1 Governing law

This page is governed by the law of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection forum a user may be entitled to use.

13.2 Severability

If any part of this page is found unlawful or unenforceable, that part is treated as removed or limited to the extent necessary, and the rest continues to apply in full.

13.3 Entire agreement

For both platforms, this page sets out the general terms governing use of the software unless a separate written agreement expressly applies. Nothing in a separate written agreement should be interpreted as transferring ownership of user-entered data to the Company unless expressly stated and lawfully agreed.

13.4 No waiver

If the Company does not act on a breach of this page, that is not a waiver of the right to act on a later breach.

14. Changes to These Policies

These policies may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in either platform, applicable law, security practices, technology or business operations. The latest effective date appears at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel where reasonably required.

Continued use of either platform after an effective update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, to the extent permitted by law.

If the architecture of either platform changes in a material way — for example, if an account system, server-side database or cloud synchronisation is introduced — these policies will be reviewed and updated to accurately describe the new data practices before or when that functionality is introduced.

Privacy, security and policy enquiries for either platform should be directed to the contact details above. Please note that the Company cannot retrieve locally stored financial records on a user's behalf because those records are not maintained in a Company-controlled account or database.

Complaints may also be escalated to the appropriate South African regulator where applicable.

Legal review notice: This page is drafted as a policy framework for two platforms that store user-entered information locally rather than in Company-controlled user accounts or databases. It is not a substitute for review by a South African attorney. Particular attention should be given to §12 (Liability & Indemnity), the treatment of any personal information under POPIA, and any third-party services used to deliver software resources. If either platform later introduces accounts, server-side storage or cloud synchronisation, the relevant local-storage provisions throughout this page should be substantively reviewed and updated.
